The 15mm band material is some in-between sized stuff that I got from John Hanson.
The bullseye is a big headed push pin.

It works on other stuff too. These fish and several others were all shot with this gun on the first day it was in the water. What was especially cool was that it shot "naturally" to the point of aim for different people who had never used it and had various experience levels.
BTW, these are pictures from last year.
Who's the kid in the first pic? That's the second time I see a picture of him here.
Chad, can you describe how you aim with this gun when you took the first two bullseye shots?

I am curious as to what this is attributed to. My first guess would be the balance of the gun from the handle and next, the weight of the gun in relation to the amount of recoil. Do you recall how far, from the butt of the gun that the handle was placed? My experience has been that the closer the handle is to the butt ( in relation to balance) the better the gun shoots, with no prior experience.
He's Aaron, Cam's cousin.
Pics were from the same trip.
This is going to sound like a bunch of crap, but I actually do best when I don't aim, just extend gun and look at where I want the shaft to hit and pull the trigger.
I think it is about 8 or 9 inches from the butt to the handle. I've found that I like the in-between handle placement. Not sure if it is the reason for "natural" shooting. I think the short vertical distance between the handle and the shaft also plays a role. Light shaft, light recoil doesn't hurt.
haha blood bath in the tuna picture..

We both shoot the same. I shoot the same way I shoot my 1911. Point the tip at the center of mass and
squeeze. With fish I just look a the lateral line and pull. I break allot of spines. But I never use a friends gun,
the new fart gun may take a few shots to dial in.
Those are great fish, wahoo are a plane ride for me, as are big tuna.
Cheers, Don
