Nice find. I think it will create more problems than it will solve for a spearfishing application. It will either rip the mask right off or if you keep your head over the water you can't see what you're passing over. I've wanted to design something like this before that goes slower and doesn't submerge and has a window for the diver to see the bottom.
-
They have some kayaks with windows on them and they also have %100 clear kayaks.
-
I've seen them, kayaks are too much hassle, you know that cause you never use yours. I meant something that will pull you with it's own power, like that mini jetski but different. I envisioned it as somehting you can pull your upper body onto.
-
For underwater exploration I can't imagine anything that provides that kind of agility and movement short of getting gills and a dolphin tail.

Really? How would you equalize on a descent?
-
Equalizing would be a major issue for me. There are nose clips like the ones free divers use.
-
This would not be a good set up for spearfishing. It seems more like a pwc that can dive to fourty meters.

Would you dive without a mask or use fluid goggles?

:rolleyes1:

That's basically what I thought when I saw that machine.

At the very least it would be fun to take it for a spin... in about ten years, when the price comes down to say below $4000
