Hawaiian sling bands

    I was wondering what is the typical band load was on a Hawaiian sling. I'm planing on building a sling for bluewater hunting in the bahamas and am planning on using 9/16 bands for about 90 pounds of pull.

    If you're talking about the same 9/16 as for speargun bands then it's way too heavy. You're not going to be able to maintain that band pulled and aim properly. I'm not sure about the specs of the rubber for a sling.
