Hey guys,
I'm heading down to Key Largo for spring break. Going to be staying around MM100. Does anyone have any spots or numbers that they're willing to share for spearing. I dont want your super secret spots lol, just something to get us started and so that we can kill a few fish. Willing to trade for ##'s off Tampa bay. Got plenty of those!
Also, i'm so confused on the regs down there.. Any good links for info on that?

you have to be 3 miles off from any part of land that breaks water...most maps you find of the keys for fishermen will have it...
There is no spearing in Key Largo. Gotta be north of of Broad Creek (dade county line)or south of Molasses Reef(and still be 3 miles out).
For key largo spearing you have to head out and be south of Rodriguez key and 3 miles out. The boat GPS should say which one it is. It is a very large Island so you can't miss it. The GPS should also have a line which is the "three nautical mile line" Stay east of it and you'll be alright. ALso no spearing in any area marked by yellow bouys.
Basically if the vis is good look for coral beds.
