found gun in pv, blue jbl explorer

  • Found a recently lost jbl explorer in pv yesterday, the bands were still loaded and it still looks really clean. Definitely lost in the last two weeks at most. Anyone have a dive buddy missing a gun?

  • The way it was rigged it looked like they were swimming out and it fell off a float board or something, even though it was loaded and in the middle of a kelp bed it wasn't ready to shoot, so fortunately it didn't look like they were diving at the time. Did look around but didn't see anything else, hopefully they're ok and turn up looking for their gun :)

Went to the store site to see what one looks like...... it lists a effective range of 22 feet....:laughing3::laughing3: :rolleyes1: I've been shooting the wrong guns.

  • Yup, it's one beefy tuna gun, you've been missing out :)

Actually if the owner doesn't turn up I'll be donating it to one of my buddies that's just starting out, that way he can learn to stalk fish.

  • I'm just following everyones example, from what I hear anyone on the outside can read the first post. But only members here can read the second one onward.

  • Did I miss something? Why is it on every thread, the first post just diverts you to the second post?

Here Paul...I found the post, it's at the top of our Calif section.

The California section is now private. Guests browsing the forum will see the threads in this section, but when clicking on a thread they will only be able to see the first post. The reason for this is that we don't want non members to use information we post about conditions and locations pertinent to spearfishing in our area.

For this reason you are urged to not disclose in the first post conditions information such as visibility, which fish were present in numbers, where you were diving etc. It takes a little bit of creativity but you can divide the post in such a way that the fun part with pics will be in the first post and the specifics on conditions, if you choose to give out this info, in the following posts. • good call, little jbls are the gun to learn with.. not complex yet they usually work

Funny part is this one's about 44" I think or something along those lines, I'm guessing the usable range is like... 44"
