Hello my name is Jeremy. I live in Goleta (just up the coast from Santa Barbara) and dive between Ventura and Gaviota a couple of times a week, or whenever I can. I've been diving locally for about 30 years, and occasionally spearfishing. two years ago I was given a speargun by a coworker and have taken it on almost every dive since then.
I do own a small inflatable boat and a kayak that I never use as I prefer to shore dive, and time is usually at a premium for me. On a typical dive I target halibut calicos, rockfishes, and crabs.
I like making and modifying my own gear.
I rockhound, collect books, chase my family around, work, and try to find slack when Im not in the water.
Clear water and good vis are two of my favorite things that I hardly ever see. Oh yeah that and WSB...
