Dove PV today and took the camera out mounted to the gun. Beatiful dive and 64 degree surface temp with plenty of short seabass and a few 10 to 15 lbrs mixed in. I didn't get any footage worth while of the seabass, but enjoyed the dive thoroughly. I glided through the kelp forest while the sun glistened through the rooms and made for a near perfect dive(other than not getting a fish). My buddy shot a smallish but good eater and we looked as best we could for halibut. You know how tough it is going out for butts and seeing a seabass in the first 5 minutes? We gave it a good shot, but I felt like I sort of half assed it for both species since I was torn by which to hunt. The thermocline in 30 ft+ dropped to a chilly 55 at 15ft!! 9 degree difference! Really enjoyable dive overall and definitely glad I went.
