Two days into my trip to Japan...something didn't feel right in my back . I figured it was a combo of a long plane trip, horsing luggage, and bad beds. And so I dealt with it. Then I started feeling a tingle down my right leg . Like my ham string had some tension on it. A little pain ,but manageable.
I get home and back into the arms of my wife and bed....back still dicked up, but not enough to hold me back from light exercise, house chores, duty, and dog training. Hell last weekend I was navigating trails in the OK. Ozarks to get to where trout were holeing up.
And then came last night. About 6 hours into my shift I felt stabs of pain jetting down the backs of my legs and a jolt just to the right side of my spiine that was mating up with the pain playing with my ham string like a marionette.
Today , my girls got out of the house cause they want no part of my mood.Nothing personal , but a black cloud follows me.
Which caused me to lie in bed and read Capstick ,Hemingway, and Corbett books. And Corbett's " The Man-Eaters of Kumaon" led me to this....
"....she was an ancient beast. A very old tigress to be sure. However, as worn as her teeth were she should have little issue with consuming natural prey. As we examined her , we could smell the distinct odor of infection and soon discovered that one of her forepaws was bristling with porcupine quills. That would explain her very poor disposition."
Damn right it would.
