One more breath

    How much more time will one breath give you?


    I recall some category or record in competitive freediving, where the diver took another breath at some point.


    I've never done this because I never had an air source. But I figure I'd get very little time considering how oxygen starved I am at the end of a dive. Maybe I'll have someone watch me and attempt another breath hold after one breath.

    I read Dons post to mean it would tell him which end was out and that he could cut it to ditch it if need be. I think one of us mis read it hhaha.
    To deal with you interpretation... I dont think you'd get much, but even sucking my mask on ascent makes my mind feel better
    I would wonder how much air would even be in the tube at depth?

    Dan, My '' one more breath'' will be at the surface.;) The vinyl tubing is just used as a path to follow out in a cave or jetty rock hole with limited Vis when a wave brakes on it. .....You calling me a bubble butt Frank ?:D:D;)

    one thing that occured to me was that you actually wouldnt get any air out of the tube...if the other end is still sealed you will not be able to pull any of that air at all. you'd need a small tank w a reg to get what you are describing, but that comes with all the risks of compressed air
