Is it better for you to use a rash guard for thermal protection in cold water, I mean underneath the suit, not over it? Or is it better to use the suit over the skin?
I am curious about this

I think the rash guard may inhibit the contact between an open cell suit and your skin. This might allow water to get to your skin easier making you colder. So I would say over your suit if it helps at all.
Thanks Kyle!
Absolutely don't use the rash guard under an open cell suit.
I agree. A rash guard under an open cell suit is basically a closed cell suit. Stay warm brother
