I am interested in a rash-guard similar to the Spetton Hexskin like this one. But I cant find it anywhere in stock. Anyone know of a similar suit in the same price range? The camo thing does not matter but I would like a loading pad and a hood for the sun and the back of my neck.Thanks.

I have seen the rob Allen one and it is nice. Also the ulusub rashguard is top notch.

Not sure whether or not you need bottoms, but a good local company that does it is RealSea Camo. They make a lycra top and if Im not mistaken a bottom to match. It has a loading pad too

I just boght the Riffe hooded 2 piece rashguard and I love it

What ulusub rashguard are you referring to?
-
I'll put up a pic later tonight
-
Thanks Lunker the Ulusub looks good. I think I will try that one if I cant find the Spetton.
-
Where is that sold? I cant seem to find it on their website.
-
A little bird told me that Spetton has a big shipment of those Hexskin Rash guards arriving next week. David@Spetton-USA.com could help you locate them.

I have seen the Ulusub Rashguard here before come to think of it but the website is down now.
It is at this company as well. http://stores.ebay.com.sg/Blue-Tuna-Spearfishing
Now I don't know which one to get.

I've seen Judah's Ulusub rashguard and it's very well made. I don't know what you guys see in that Spetton pattern, in real life it's much louder than in the pic. I would get the Ulusub. As a matter of fact I want the Ulusub (for now :)) but I heard there's some fishy stuff with that ebay seller that doesn't benefit behslayer. Also $50 shipping for this item is a ripoff. I ship my 3mm suits for $16.

Good to know, I just glanced over the seller's page. I did think it was funny that Ulusub was not used in the description of the rashguards. At least I can write off that avenue, thanks for the heads up Dan.

I dont know the full story but maybe Jon can fill in the details. From what I understood Jon had a problem with his US distributor (the person who ran the ulusub-usa.com website). As for the rashguard I cant find it on Jons website and if what Dan says has any validity I wont buy it. I need a god rashguard and would like to support a company that I have had a good experience with.
As for the spetton suit I like the pattern but seing it on the rack I think I agree with dan that it is a little too "loud." This may get toned down when it gets wet and at depth. The only other rashguard that I like is the Riffe. I dont chest load so a loading pad isnt a must.
I was hoping to see a Pursuit rashguard soon but that doesnt seem like an option for a while.
-
Where did you see the Spetton in person? Same here on the Pursuit...that would have been my first option.
-
At Austin's dive shop in Miami. I dont think they have the rashguard but they have the 2.5mm suit and may be getting the rashguard this summer.
-
I think that Florida Freedivers has the spetton rashguards. Give mike or rob a call. Great people there to chat w too
-
I could be wrong but I was told that Spetton and Ulusub and possibly Rob allen were made by the same wetsuit company. That's what I was told so don't quote me on it. So quality wise they should be very similar.
-
So where/when will the Ulusub rashguards be available? Besides the ebay seller.
-
Pic of the excellent rashguard as promised
