Hello all -
Really glad I found this place - being (very) new to spearfishing, there is so much information here...
I've been here in South Florida since 1993 - moving down here from Minnesota I really thought I would scuba dive all the time...well that didn't exactly happen. Now the idea of all that gear is kind of a turn off. Over the past few months I've been getting into snorkeling, and I'm ready to push a little further and try some spearfishing. Went out Sunday off Ft Lauderdale beach with a friend and dodged jellyfish, but got nothing. No matter, just being in the water was awesome :thumbsup2:
