Squid suggestions ?

    Two weeks ago i took my first squid, had it prepared the usual way of fried calamari, and it was better than any I've had! Are there any Florida species to avoid, handling methods, special preparations or cleaning techniques? Any recipes other than deep fried would be appreciated as well.

    You can stuff the tubes with crab rice and shrimp with your favorite spices and bake them.


    Dice and add to pasta or make a seafood soup with squid and fish and some tomatoes.


    If your adventurous you can do sashimi too.
