Build me straight, O worthy Master,
Staunch and strong, a goodly vessel,
That shall laugh at all disaster,
And with wave and whirlwind wrestle!Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, "The Building of the Ship''

Looks good man!:fanwave:

Rain and Xmas chores have slowed forward progress a bit, but Dillon was able to coxcomb the wheel in gray and green para cord along with the glasses....I'm still working on the Christmas lights.:rolleyes1:

Still undecided on the knob.

I have a spinner knob on mine. Perfect for holding onto something with one hand and steering with the other.
-
I think my grand pappy had a spinner knob on the Cadillac El Dorado in the 1970's...

''Honey whats that odd smell in the guest bathroom'' ? .....don't worry I just cleaned the head.;);)
The Merc dampeners were stripped and painted with POR-15, a heavy duty chassis paint from Eastwood products.
Trial fit some Mil spec D-rings and the wheel.Cheers, Don

Cold and very wet tonight. drilled and taped the steering wheel to screw my old blue spinner on.
Heading home to a whisky, fireplace, and big ass furry cat for me lap.Cheers, Don

Bonded some grooved industrial rubber to the motor cowling to cut the eng noise a wee bit. Motor looks a little like Darth Vader now. Found a spot for Thumper with out getting into Haplon fabric colors. Need to paint the cowl front cover next.

Added black mesh and Velcro to the thrust board cover so nothing sharp finds it way under the floor, installed SS buton head bolts to secure it. Finished branding the speedtubes with the Milpro logo.
Lots of tape residue and glue to clean up after the arch and electronics work.

Tried out my spot for the Bravo automatic adjustable air pump I picked up for 10 bucks and rebuilt.
The flange connection gets mounted to allow a coiled hose to service the air needs.
Next was completing the 3M 5200 clue job on the thrust board cover mesh Velcro, followed by starting speedtube clean up.Cheers, Don

Air station works great, started sanding/preping D-ring pads for bonding when the humidity drops.
Tested the cooler last week, 20lbs of ice and 2 cases of warm water and champagne lasted 5 days even after opening each day.:thumbsup2:
Cheers, Don -
Rain again today, so just sanding prep for the last 2 glue opps.

Last of glue work done. On to the radar arch.

After being outside in the rain half the day, came home, had some spicy pho and drove to the boat. Turned on my work lights, change into work clothes, stared at the last completed work. Looked at the cold rain falling. changed back into my street clothes and headed home to my whisky, cats and fireplace. Motivation tonight is - 10...major slacker tonight. Weekend is suppose to be nice.:thumbsup2:
Cheers, Don
