Has anyone tried using swordfish lights or some other form of flashing lights as part of their flasher? If so any success?

I picked up a fishing strobe on the cheap at basspro for my yak when me and nate go out night fishing in the bay near our place. I may try that next time I send some flashers down. Those lights arent expensive... heres the one I have -

I use the white one. however, might need an overcast day for it to draw fish in.

I used them once for bat rays at night in Morro Bay off a canoe. It made for a techno light show in the dark when the ray started swimming circles around us. You should try it and see what happens.

I was watching a documentary on finding the giant squid and they had a bioluminescence expert with some light ball that mimicked jelly fish. Then I thought of the swordfish lights and how flashers basically reflect light. Figured it might be a good idea.
