That loading butt looks like a malevolently designed torture instrument.
-
It may seem like this!
But I guarantee you that it is easy to load
Loading Extreme 1
While in most Roller the load is from the upper side, in a system where the elastics are often preloaded on the lower side. In Extreme1, with the introduction of Delrin from loading, the loading is done in a manner contrary to the more practical and safe.
In top loading, the elastic bands have not yet accumulated a lot of energy, so it is easy to attach the spinner to the fin of the auction.
Rotated the gun can finish loading by introducing a pin steel pin type portapesci, from loading within the joint that is part of the bands. The pin functions as a charging handle, so you can better focus on the strength and avoid getting your fingers caught. After loading the pin is removed and is placed in his belt pouch -

I like it conceptually, I would suggest changing two thing that would keep me from buying it and from the questions/comments of others on here I think we have the same ideas (correct me if I am wrong pls):
- The butt looks like it can hurt, especially if the angle is wrong when you try to load it. I understand you made it like that to differentiate your design from others and to reflect your brand's logo, but I think the body of the gun is already unique and the logo would be better inscribed in the (normally shaped) butt of the gun instead.
- The pin is a good idea, and you want it to double as a stringer, but the reality is that we don't all use a stringer, the stringer attachment on the belt is a weight retainer which can't be used and isn't needed on Marseillaise type belts which I think most spearfishermen use. I would suggest you find a way to incorporate it in the gun, such clipping it on the handle or create a spring mechanism where you drill a hole at the bottom of the handle (vertically) or even on the butt (horizontally, it must not stick out at all though) push in and it locks into place and push in again and it comes out. Like those camera memory card slots or the cordless mice have sometimes where you have a spring system and you push in and it locks and you push in again and it comes out, do you see what I mean? I would feel safer (it not falling out) with the horizontal one :-))

I would also make the part the pin slides into to load the gun out of aluminium or stainless steel instead of plastic. This part will have strain and plastic ages not so well in salt water and sunlight.
-
the loading phase is simple. when you load the top side of the rubber band is still weak, so the calcium does not create pain. After we turn and load again. At this point you force in the belly with the handle and guarantee that it is easy

the pin is inox steel

Please post a close up picture of the rod in the plastic piece on the belt. I would like to see how it's held in there. Is this piece originally meant to be used as a stringer? Who makes it? Thanks.

the pin is inox steel
Yes, I meant the piece on the gun that the rod goes inside when you want to load it.

Dan, Omer makes it, designed by Marco Bardi, costs about 13€

I have a friend in Spain that designs very nice spearfishing gear. His nick is Gironinsub. He designed a really nice stringer.
