Banks Board in so cal?

    I have been thinking about getting a banks board or a mess bag to carry my gear to shore in but I like the idea of a banks board to carry gear in the water. However my concern is that with all this kelp here I would be leaving it at home instead of diving off of it. How do you guys like using your boards here in socal given our diving conditions? Thanks

    It is a big surface item following you. I love mine but it is a bear in more than 3 ft medium set swell. No rollers here but it gets choppy.



    I don't know from kelp but it might be more than you want to drag behind you. Maybe you can clip it to a stalk and use it as a home base
