    Me too in the early 80's;)..... tested a 1/4 scale one in the pool, my friend ( John Warren) thought I was nuts.
    I'd be ranting on the phone about it and the speed of the tube and soon I would hear..."Don I gotta Go''.:crazy:


    My first prototype model shot plastic straws completely through raw potatoes @ 3', power was rubber from euro race bike tubes.
    I never killed a fish with it though.
    He's got me beat on the I beam....never did that. I did do a 3'' 3/8 shaft in a 72'' inch barrel with 4 bands....very spooky to cock ...
    Somewhere I have test target mylar from 20'' shots.
