That guy also made one that shoots pipe. Pretty cool idea to use hydro dynamics to your advantage and I respect the innovation.
That said, if I brought a huge, four band cannon to the lake I would get a few kill shots too

Me too in the early 80's;)..... tested a 1/4 scale one in the pool, my friend ( John Warren) thought I was nuts.

He's got me beat on the I beam....never did that. I did do a 3'' 3/8 shaft in a 72'' inch barrel with 4 bands....very spooky to cock ...
Somewhere I have test target mylar from 20'' shots.

Haha nice a 2x4 with bands! That is a cool idea but i wonder on long shots if the flat sides of the shaft would cause it to drift off target.
