My name is Dave and I'm going to be heading down to Ambergris Caye in Belize. I'm looking forward to trying to get in some hunting. I'm new to the sport however I'm hoping to improve my skills and get in better shape. I look forward to connecting with anyone in the area.

Are you moving to Ambergris? There are a couple guys on here that live up there.
I used to live there and know some places but you need to hook up with a boat. The reef is only about half mile out from shore there but there is a lot of boat traffic making it very dangerous to swim out.
Start out in the shallows and go for hogfish and small snappers. Good eating and good practice.
