Ocean continues to rage on the east side of Island..need to dive, heading to Kona to check out south point, any other spots easy to shore dive with choke fish?

The west point of the Big Isle, off Kalaoa?...supposed to be good. Strong current going out at times, But ono...and they say big tigers and occasional white. That's what my son tells me. He's been in Kona for the last 15 months.

How much longer is Jake going to be there for? I'm going to be in Kona the last two weeks of April and I would like join him if the opportunity arises. It's my first time on the island so I don't know much about the area. I'm coming fully geared though.
