Hi all, my goal is to create a go-to page to check the current conditions in San Diego before heading to the beach. Below you will find, what I believe to be, the best combination predictive models and actual conditions. This is primarily for my own edification but I hope you find it useful too. Plus, just for Spear Diver members, whenever I’m near the beach I’ll post pic or dive a conditions report, feel free to contribute as well. So register to find out the latest conditions.

These guys were obvious scum bags but does anyone know any citations for fishing in one of the new MPAs? I normally see DFG once a week or so but I haven't seen a warden to ask this year.

Impressive haul. I was able to take the last legally caught game fish out of the Scripps Reserve, a 24" halibut. This is the same place I took my first halibut and biggest halibut. When I was getting in I spoke to a shore fisherman who also saying good by after 30 years for shore fishing next to the pier.

I'd be down for a free dive only outing to practice form etc. Let me know.
I also took the last legal game fish to come out of the Scripps reserve, a nice little halibut at around 10pm 12/31/11. -

Nice there are good lows this week so if you want to try diving for them this is the time. You do need to carry a 4" gauge though

I am tending to her. I just made my wife, brother, and mother in law dinner. We are just waiting. As far as the fish Freedro(from spear board) brought it and I brought the deep fryer down there earlier this morning. From now on we will have my deep fryer down there for all club dives and children's pool parties.
The fryer was awesome!

Ya it takes forever but I have been good I just take a peak at it everyday. I do need to do a five gallon batch though.
Not how beer yeast smells but with champagne yeast the first few days of fermentation smell like rino farts...

I am in. I got one gallon of cider clearing up that I can bring. Not sure how it tastes yet but I used an ale yeast I am not a fan of the champagne tasting ciders.
It is all about aging. I use champagne yeast and usually ferment for 3-6 months then another 3-6 months in the bottle before they are perfect. The trouble is not drinking it all before it comes to age, doing 5 gallon batch every 4 months help keep the cider supply going. Now keeping the beer bottles full is much harder...
