That's what I thought too Dan. I was using a double constrictor. This is the first and only time it's ever happened to me, maybe just a rare occurrence. I cut off half an inch and retied it without problem.

I've always licked my h&l knots too, never thought to lick my bands. I'll be licking my rubbers from here on out, per your recommendations.

Sweet vid, I liked how the camera was angle was blind to you grabbing the lobster.. like pulling a rabbit out of the hat.

Just tied a couple bands, for the first time ever I had the twine actually cut into the rubber. Speardiver waxed twine, primeline rubber. Anybody else ever have this happen? Pic quality isn't good, but if you look close you can see that the twine cut through the outer black wall and into the amber underneath.

It's different person to person. I've taken a couple deep hits on the hand before and was back to normal with only residual pain in a days time. All I took was a strong dose of Benedryl and was good to go on every occasion. On the contrary you see pictures of people with snake bite esque reactions. Then again, I've taken a cottonmouth hit as well without any super serious repercussions. Just hope your insides are as vile as mine I guess, good luck.

Dan, is this the one with the strap that attaches to the skirt as opposed to the frame? Assuming so, I'm surprised you didn't mention it, I love that feature.
As to the fit, assuming it's the mask I think it is, I have relatively wide face and it fit me very well when I put it on. -
I got off work way early, thanks for the call. :rolleyes1: I feel so completely forsaken.

Came across the video with a really weird band set up on a rollergun. I didn't want to create a new thread just to ask the question, and this one seemed like a general overview of the rollergun so I figured I'd post it here.

Those definitely look cleaner, that's for sure. Not all Louisiana crawfish taste like mud, it's all in how you prep before cooking.. a good batch is to die for.
Yours look mighty delicious, it's got me craving them now. Are they a common food item up your way? What do you guys add to the boil? -
Nice catch. Have you ever had Louisiana crawfish to make a taste comparison?

Sling shafts don't have fins/pins, what's the benefit of the enclosed track as opposed to a completely enclosed track of a normal sling? Seems over-engineered for the sake of being different.

Rematch Dec 28, I'm kind of surprised. Anderson Silva vs. Chris Weidman Rematch at UFC 168; Ronda Rousey vs. Miesha Tate is Co-Main Event | MMAWeekly.com

That's an amazing price. I paid over $1000 for mine new. The tridents and prowlers are pretty similar, the biggest difference being the hatch layout. I wouldn't say one is better than the other, but the trident angler series is a bit more convenient with the rod pod center hatch, it also has a shielded pseudo-hatch for mounting a gps or depthfinder.

Silva is arguably one of the greatest mma fighters of all time, but I feel that he really tainted an amazing career with that fight. It seems like Silva wants to be done, it's just a shame he ended it looking like a fool. I really wish the super fight with GSP would have worked out, I'd love to see him disrespect GSP and get picked to pieces.
I haven't read too much into the money driven conspiracy side, I really don't want to end up believing it. -
Nice gun, custom reel?

I agree completely Hank. It's good the first day, but it's so much better the day after.

Yeah, the moon typically gets the water moving, but this current was damn near unbearable unless you're live boating. Maybe the super moon made super current.
-
How was the current? It was ripping so hard to the north on Wednesday and Thursday.

Really sick pics Frank, that last one with the plane is pretty epic. You must have got a new camera?

I've always used a conventional battery charger, however with my current storage situation, that's not a very practical option. Do any of you use solar powered trickle chargers? I'm curious as to how reliable and effective they are, or really just any information, good or bad experiences with them.
