"After my last fight with Velasquez, I was too bloated. My face was completely deformed. I went to the hospital. I had no cuts against Cain Velasquez. He hits like a girl. We say in boxing about people who 'catch,' who have that punch that you really feel or that cuts your face or knocks you down. He hit me a lot during the five rounds, but did not open anything, although I finished very bloated and had to go to the hospital." -JDS

Yeah, just like a girl :rolleyes1:

Worm it is I guess. I've seen plenty of worms in fish before, but none that look like these. It looks like a small black pellet. Are they a different type than the worms I'm used to seeing?

I've shot 3 red grouper in the past couple weeks, and 2 of the 3 have had this black thing in one filet. Both in the same location, in the top part of the filet, very close to the head. I didn't think much of the first one, but the same thing on two different fish in the same exact area seems a bit odd. Any ideas?

Normally when I hear Steven yell my name while diving, I assume I'm about to get run over by a boat. Pleasant surprise to see him hoist a king out of the water instead. Nice fish

Solo in Hollywood today 5:00-dark. Surface was glass, vis top to bottom in ~85ft. Ripping northbound current. Red grouper and a big porgy. Saw the biggest hammerhead I've ever seen in the water, he couldn't care less about me.

The vis yesterday in the same spot was stellar, today it was downright amazing.. tomorrow, I bet more of the same. Tomorrow is that day that only comes a handful of times a year I think, go dive.

Hollywood from 5:15 til dark. Hazy top to bottom greenish vis in 70-75ft, opened up nice on the bottom but the sinking sun and clouds in the west made it pretty dark. Didn't notice any current, despite the full moon. 1-2ft chop on the surface with the occasional 3ft roller. Got a 22ish inch mutton and a cookie cutter mangrove.

On a side note, today was the first day I got to use my new fiberglass blades from Dan. The performance was everything I wanted and more, I couldn't possibly be more pleased. Thanks Dan

It's been a pretty boring Sunday, so I decided to edit the few clips I had of lobster this past season. Sadly, I only wore the GoPro on 1 day of lobster diving this year, so almost all of the footage is from the same day, with the exception of the last clip.

I find sockets, batteries, who knows....laying out in the yard. My boat fuel lines are pulled up and out of the tanks, shifters are pulled down or up....

You and my dad have some of the same gripes Hank. I remember the day my dad found his snap on ratchet with the lawn mower, in the same exact place that I was working on my ATV. Same day, I also borrowed his primer ball off one of the boats to siphon some gas and forgot to put it back.. he didn't notice until he was at the marina. Probably 7 or 8 years ago, my ass still hurts a bit.

Simple but neat video. I was playing around with a video the other day that I took in abt 65 ft with ~30ft vis. I was able to slow mo the first 20sec of my descent into about 45 seconds without there being extreme visual slow mo queues. Turned my 1:20 65ft dive into a 2:00+ 100ft dive. :D
