New version arrived today... testing it tomorrow. There was an issue with the metal version and it was postponed but I'm really happy with the plastic that I might not go for metal after all.

I use silicon spray and my Swiss army pocket knife pliers...
having a cone shaped end on the band reduces drag... Does it make a huge difference? maybe not but why not having it the best way?
Dyneema isn't stiff... it you're mentioning that yellow line, it's usualy a dyneema core with a nylon/other jacket...Why the wishbones so long?

Nice!
don't like the scuba ones... -
They can be blindfolded but still there has to be some fish...
Looks like the second day was better... -
Forsberg Los buenos son buenos en todos los mares http://spearfishing.world/gene…sinki-finland-2013-a.html
Yeah but 0.5m visibility (less then 2 ft) doesn't give much room to be good!
Some top spearos didn't even got a fish today. -
Great thread!
BTW I was the first in the US, and probably the world, to offer small ID rubber tubing for spearguns.
In Europe those have been around for a while... I have some old bands (6 years +) i use to make spear tip plugs and those have the small ID (~1,5mm) these were from bands with threads tough...

Congrats! it was the same for me 3 years ago...

just had a quick question . does tapering the band ends make them any quieter ?
it should... don't know how much... Definitely it's not worse then not tapering

very nice mount like it a lot!
im about to start a mount for my new mythicon gun!
i will make if of. fiberglass and composites or what you recommend using?thanks
alexFiberglass sounds good...
But man, your new gun needs some good looking mount :cool2: -
I tough they were wood wrapped in carbon... but I might be confusing stuff.... too many guns on my brain...
I have checked these ones a few times
Great looking gun. Enjoy it!Edit: yeah, just found some references of being wood covered in carbon but that might be from previous models...

I have those foot pockets for my reef fins and yes the right and left is easy to see and yes it fits better but OMG are they heavy and bulky but I do use them alot so not a deal breaker for me. Hank left and right is great bro
Yes, those have more bulk and are heavier but it doesn't affect (negatively) performance... It allows fro a more comfortable transfer of energy... in my opinion

This sounds like the voice of experience. Overheating them would be bad. Pull them out of the water and they start "drooping".....whooaaaa. $$$$$$
No... they already have the left and right FP. It's very easy to see which one it is and yes, it make a big difference in comfort.

Don't try C4 footpockest if you don't want to buy new fins

Very nice job, investment cast end product?
Cheers, Don
thanks
It will be 3D printed... either with a binder on SS and then bronze infusion or printed wax and then lost wax cast in brass. -
You're an artist!

It's nice. But only works with one gun?
This one was specifically made for C4 guns but it's easy to change the model for other guns...
Someone already asked me if I would make one for another camera (but same gun)...
It's just a matter of having the dimensionsI made these just because i wanted them but some people mentioned that they want them too...

Finally received my prototypes...
Just have to make some tweaks in the 3D model and have the final version made in SS and plastic.I had a mount but wanted something that had the least amount of parts as possible (just one in this case), had a slimmer profile and kept the camera in a position where it would interfere the least with loading and aiming while giving a more POV perspective. Also wanted to be able to mount/release the camera quickly...

So it happens that when we prepare a rubber pussy that is very strong when loading or can not load the rifle.I've heard stories about those
