You know, after getting called almost a big of a gear whore as you, I still haven't found it. I have 2 more waiting in the wings to be shot. The first is a 55" Wong Hybrid Mag RHP. I've already talked to Daryl about moving the handle forward, as I don't like the balance of the RHP set-up. But I do know that I most definitely prefer the Aimrite handles to the Alexander ones.

I've also got a 120cm Super Venom that I didn't get to take out on the last trip cause of the viz. But I have to say that my little scrapped together 110 with a Beuchat Mundial handle, RA green handle barrel and Rabitech muzzle definitely does the trick. I love the feel of the handle, and 12' shots weren't much of a problem on sand bass and calicos.

I don't think i'm ready for 80' yet, but I'm already eyeing a spot in either the PFI or the DiveFIT next year. And Jax is like 2 hours away. I'd totally be down for that. I just can't go for months on end without getting in the water. I'll lose my mind!

California is crazy. A lot of those people have their heads waaaaay far up their asses. But as i'm coming to find out, the fish lovers are pretty bad out here too.

John, it's great to see you on here, brother. And trust me, i've already mapquested your house from here. ;)

Wow, a variable weight dive, and he still kicked all the way down. I love how he's so slow and relaxed thought. You can see the cameraman kicking furiously on the way up, and the diver is still slow and stead. Awesome.

Sorry, I'm on my honeymoon, so my offerings are few and far between.

I wasn't taking sides in the SB arguement. Frankly, the only reason that I give a rat's ass is that Josh is a close, personal friend of mine, and I don't like to see the guy have to deal with people monkeying up the designs that I've watched him work so hard on. i understand that it's a tried and true design, but Josh has gone out of his way to make it better, and I think he's done just that.

But I feel the same way that you guys do about the SB drama, which is one thing that I really like about this site, is that you guys seem to have a much eaiser time letting things roll off your backs and keep to the "point at hand", if you will. And this site also lacks the people that Aaron referred to, the guys that like to interject with the one liners about how someone is stupid or whatever.

Again, Dan, thank you for the site and everything that you do. Muy amable!

There's a story behind that one. It's located in another thread about that guy Ihab's trigger mechs he just started producing. He hasn't really given anyone a lot of reason to respect him.

I tried using an OMER Alien after using my Micromask for almost a year, and just couldn't do it. I don't ever notice myself having to equalize it, it's super comfortable, and only leaks if I forget to shave for a few days. Expensive, but well worth it.

That's what I'm hoping for. I know there's a footpocket out there for me, I just haven't found it yet. I've also tried the Nemo pockets, bifins as well as the ones on my monofin, and I'm really not a fan.

I've also pondered trying to find a smoothout sock, but the only ones I've seen that I think might work are the new Sporasub socks. Yazbeck makes one that has smoothout on the toes, but not on the ankle where I want it.

I've been through a bunch of footpockets, and I suffer from slipping heels. I've used 44-46 Picasso pockets with Argos 4mm socks, and the heels slip slightly. But these pockets are heavy and sink, and I'd like to get away from them. I recently got a set of OMER Rekords with 44-46 pockets, and had to go down to a 3mm Cressi sock, and again, slippage in the heel. I had the same problem with C4 SuperFalcons 45-46 with the Argos socks. I tried using the laces, but it made the fins too tight. I've also tried fin keepers with a lot of these pockets, but found them either too tight or not tight enough, depending on the size.

So, any suggestions? I have a set of Cressi 3000LD's. but I HATE the blades. I've thought about trying the new Sporasub Revolutions, but I'm on the fence with them cause I don't know how I feel about another set of plastic blades.

    I'm open to suggestions...
