Hello!
-
wishIhadgills you did good the other day in Miami, nice form and good recovery breaths, little samba but you pulled through, nice 100ft dive.
-
Harry is right, I should have said start at 2nd reef.
-
Well Boca is not much of a "fish spot" so to say more like an aquarium dive, it is pretty with lot's of small fish and the occasional mackerel or Hog, but, not like Jupiter. The best is simply start at 1st reef which is around 40 to 60ft depending on the area and just drift north or south on it depending on the current, that is about the most of it in the shallow area, be safe.

Hello nice of you to join here, great bunch of people.

Nice report and photo's Kyle, it seems like you were there during the rainy season and that is why the water was so murky, in the dry season Nica is very nice for diving, starts around December to clean up since the rain has stopped and rivers dry up.

"Can't fathom anyone who considers this for spearfishing has spent much time in the water."
Agreed Rolo!

At a 1:34 dive time to that depth he did a touch and go basically which is smart for those depths, I would not want to have to dive that deep for fish all the time, but, it is impressive and I suppose necissary in some areas of the wolrd.

I could be wrong, but, I don't think Rain X is anti-fog at all, simply creates a slippery surface for water to bead and fall away from. If you want an anti-fog solution simply use a little johnson & johnson baby shampoo with water and keep your mask in it when on the boat, then when going to dive simply pull it out and dive...no tears and you smell good.
