meade area, got out around 930 and went alone for a bit, got a mackeral and hog, came back in, a few guys were goin out as i came in so i joined them and got another hog. Big cudas, but im not interested.

Viz wasnt too great and current was kickin later in the day.

with the wonderful pargo blades in the background:cool2:

damn Dan you always have the answers. that article def. makes me think twice. Why wasnt the design patented. was it sold out by the manufacturer or simply stolen and manufactured at a different location by a different party.

is it just me or do the rabitech and mako handle assemblies look exactly the same other than color of grips. The mako iconic looks just like the rabbitch apex and rabitchs carbon gun has the mako predator pros same handle? big price difference, is it just the brand name? are there major diffrences in the barrel assemblies that make the rabitechs more worthy?

that is a good way to start the day, grilled fish, especially wahoo,, and rice. A very goood sushi fish that most people are unaware of is called white tuna. ive heard it called escolar before. its supposedly a very deep water mackeral and is delicious raw. most decent sushi places have it available

sushi is awesome,, and i can say that beacasue i loved it before it was "cool" to like it haha,
and im sure there are precautions like keeping the fish filets chilled at the right temperature until serving and proper cleaning of the fish for certain species. Bottom line sashimi and sushi is fish the way nature intended in in my opinion and tastes damn good too. and if ur nervous just make some ceviche,, lime juice kills all
and obviosly dont eet sushi from a CHINESE all you can eat take out buffet for $3.99 per person, thats jsut asking for trouble

yeah i agree, especially the way some of the coral heads mounded up and had little trenches and ravines running through it,, on a crystal clear day i bet theres a lot to be found there. I made ceviche out of my hog it was tasty,, and wiill be tomorow too

Just wanted to give a quick sum up of my thoughts on pargos f.g blades and h dessault foot pockets he hooked me up with recently.. Ive used them about 3 times now. Today was ideal for accurately feeling them out casue we dove in a decent little bit of depth. I may not be the best judge because ive always used scuba-type fins when freediving until now, but these blades were a remarkable difference in what im used to. What would of taken at least7 kicks or so before getting a good descend rate going now takes 3. they snapped back well but were not too soft nor stiff. these were the medium stiffness blades not the softs. Blade angle seems ideal and i like how long they are,,(long even in comparison to some other freedive fins i thiink)
Anyway thanks again pargo and id recommend them to anyone. Its a price that most plastic fins and footpockets dont match..let alone fiberglasses... Also Lunkerbuster seemed very pleased with his new carbons today and they sure did look nice underwater. but ill let him tell that story.

yeah today didnt get too much better than when hau posted.. didnt bother headin out till 1030ish viz wasnt the worst but def. wasnt good,, the current made swimming anyway other than south pretty pointless.. drifted from meade down past the big pink buildings, got a couple decent hogs,, 14+ inch.. chased a beast snapper..(maybe mutton) for longer than i should have. praying to the ocean gods for a nicer day tomrow
