Thanks everyone, I'm thinking about getting a GoPro so hopefully in the near future I can post some video action as well. Yes we do go out to the reef break, that is usually where the bigger fish are at that spot.
do you guys swim out to the drop off??

Today is Wednesday and my friend and I both had time off for working the Typhoon on Sunday. We decided to take a trip up north about a 2 hour drive away in hopes of diving a less populated area and possibly getting some nice fish.
He came to my house at about 0715 and we had to finish tying his bands (new gun). We head out about 0730 and grab something to eat on the way. Its now 0800 and we are on the expressway headed to our destination. We arrive and the water and site look fine so we start to put on our gear. The beach is about a 20 minute hike down the hill/mountain.
We are in the water by 1000 and the conditions are less than we had hoped, the vis was anywhere from 5' to 65' depending on where we were. Didn't see anything great, but my friends band broke on the first load (he was using beads at the end of his wishbone line inside of the band) the wishbone pulled out of the bead. He is now down to 1 band on his 120. I got a few nice table fish but did not really see anything great, my friend lined up and took a shot on a 15-20lb parrot fish and it bounced right off of the fish
I have included some pics to give you an idea of the spot as we drove to the located and then again as we were leaving the the tide was getting really low.

Glad to hear you are ok, are you riding a road bike?

I love to use the compression gear when excersizing, I have a pair of the ones from 2XU. How much are those Nikes?
-
I agree and think the ones from Riffe are very nice and cost like 12.00 a pair and work great.

I like the RA for sure, but I also have a Mako seems like same design with a bigger drag knob and line holder spooled with good line for 90.00 brand new.

Those Cressi handles are picky on what shafts you can use.

Did you ever get an answer to the footpocket question.

Great looking knives!

Thanks for sharing!

They are great guns, but I love my 55 GR the best of the ones I have shot! I think a 60 GR that shots a 9/32 would be great!

Yeah I am about to pick up a set of the new Pathos pockets, the set I ordered for my friend he like them and ended up keeping them.
