Very nice gun! Dan is that the one you just finished building?

Monster I agree with both comments...the watch is also flawed i nthe fact that it displays the seconds so small and the minutes so large...I am not that good yet <img src= " height="23" srcset="https://spearfishing.world/forum/images/smilies/emojione/1f606@2x.png 2x">
You can mail the watch to hammerhead as they do the north american service of immersion now...better than having to drive to a dealer <img src= " height="23" srcset="https://spearfishing.world/forum/images/smilies/emojione/1f606@2x.png 2x">Mike glad you have had luck with the helix...seems like a hit or miss solution tothe cheap dive watch
The place that installed the battery in my first one admitted blame for the flood so they are taking care of the timex bill. I'm still debating keeping it as a backup or selling/lending it to fellow spearos.
-
Nice work! do you troll to bring the fish to the boat or how do you find them?
-
I use a timex helix depth its cheap and it works for me, even though it is hideous. they seem to have a reputation for taking on water but my current one doesn't have a problem. My other had the battery replaced and immediately after jumping in the pool it leaked. I think it's on its way back from timex now. they can usually be found on ebay in brand new old stock condition for about $40.

beach dives are common and very easy as the first reef starts just beyond the swim bouys. Depths of 30-40' are easily reached without a boat or kayak.
-
I think they're in palm beach county but dont quote me on that. That was there 2nd 1000+ lb hammer of 2010 from the beach. My friend caught 7 spinner sharks off Singer Island last sunday. dive safe everyone.

I didn't know that there was a meeting tongiht, and no I won't be attending I'll be at the panthers game. How did you hear about it?
-
Found this story looking through some H&L reports and thought I would share this crazy story with everyone, especially the south florida spearos.
-
I bet he had to change his drawers after that
-
heloo im in north broward, I think black1 is in the boca area too if I remember correctly
-
haha elmo needs a lemonade
-
nice reports! I think you piss hogfish attractant or something. I found decent viz sunday but only got a fat 22" mac and a mangrove. saw several nice groupers, damn this closure I cant wait until its over
-
nice fish! hopefully the weather holds through sunday
-
I just bought a blue camo today and it fits excellent, I'm hoping to try it out on sunday.
-
is that the lining off the tailgate of a pickup truck? also very nice sheeps
yes I have several lying in my garage so it made a nice platform to lay the fish on for a picture without laying them on my driveway(i do lots of metal work so I dont need metal shavings in the fish)
-
nice. i was really commenting on the size of the sheepies and not the siz of the mac. hope I didnt offend u.:)
not at all I just dont normally shoot fish that size, I didn't shoot either snapper pictured. I typically dont like taking a life for a sandwich sized meal.
-
usually grilled although when Im feeling lazy I blacken just about any type of fish.
-
i wouldnt have shot that little mac if I hadnt been skunked in 45' and knew I was headed in when I got to the surface. figured it was better to unload into dinner than by hand, my sheepie went about 22" the other was approaching 24"
