I'm looking to source Dyneema, the kind that is white and stiff, mainly used for wishbones. I'm having trouble searching for it because I don't know the composition, diameter, breaking strength etc. Anyone know?

www.spearitco.com offers it in 1.9mm (550 lbs) and 2.5mm (800 lbs) sizes. I bought some from them a while back, and I think it's what you are looking for. I don't remember which size I got, but I can look when I get home.

i like the stuff that Jeff mentioned...especially how easy it is to tie..just poke a hole in it and then a square knot through the hole. Done.
Dan - I looked at the stuff that I have, and it probably isn't what you want. This stuff is tightly braided spectra, but it doesn't have the really hard outer sheath that makes some lines stiffer, and I think, more wear resistant.
for me, I like the wishbone to be soft and grippy, i like the shooting line to be the tough double shielded like qpowerline
There are so many different types of Spectra and Dyneema out there. I like the white stuff that Rob Allen uses but I have been un able to source it. I have found that it works good for both reels and wishbones. The closest thing to it is Q-Powerline. Confusing!!![]()
Dyneema and Spectra is the same with different brand names. The stiff stuff is better for wishbones, the soft stuff for reels.
I have heard it being called antline or ant line.
