What do you guys think of Marseille-style buckles versus friction/clamp type buckles? I'm getting my first weight belt and I'd like to know the pros and cons of each. Thanks.

I like the mar-style for simplicity, with the combination of the pinch weights From Tim man that is my choice.
i agree with those above....the friction style are for scuba only iMO...the quick release of the mar style is amazing..just do one practice release of the belt at 30 ft and feel who fast you hit the surface...feels really safe to me <img src= " height="23" srcset="https://spearfishing.world/forum/images/smilies/emojione/1f606@2x.png 2x"> and that is the most important thing
