Holy Crap that is a big Hammerhead....Chad Palin swears to me he saw a Great White in Palm Beach and said it looked like a small submarine!!! he said it was in the same area GreekDiver was spearing the day before...gulp!.
woahh.....intense monster slayer....i have no f*ckin doubt there are still 20FT plus.... more of giantic sharks...theres only 10% that mankind have discover from the ocean....maybe a megalodon still alive who knows haha...
Ive seen/heard of great whites being caught off the florida keys but never as far north as WPB... my dad said back in high school (he graduated in '79) when he was running dive boats he had a hammerhead swim underneath(perpendicular to the boat) and it stuck out on both sides..... the boat he was running was 15' wide :@
I have seen them in action underwater and they are scary, the biggest was just 10 feet tho, but it was moving his head and spinning at the surface as hell. But a 20 footer!! I can´t imagine one shark that big.
The redish-pink color is due a mortal fight, either a spear or a hook. Have you noticed that?
