On page 21 of the biggest newspaper in Puerto Rico, our
picture of lasr year beach clean up helping the
OCEAN CONSERVANCY.
Next Saturday, Sept 25,2010 we will be doing it again,
and this year, Puerto Rico has been selected
for the first time to document the underwater clean up.
This year also is the 25th aniversary of the beach clean up.
We encourage all responsible spearfishermen to take
one morning of killin fish, and give something back to the
ecosystem, but more important to me, that our public image
improves, and with that, we need all the help we can get.
Next saturday, in the Piñones bridge, at 8:00 am, just a few hours
guys.
I need spearos there, with basic freediving gear, so
we can do some UW clean up.
Out of the water I have a bunch of school kids helping,
and later in the year, I will be giving them some
information about spearfishing at their shool, it would
be great if they could see you doing some good deeds.
