So I attended Shark university on Sunday....

  • I would scale and gut all of the fish to attract the Bull Shark with the Cobias. Shoot the Cobia off his belly and then get in the boat and drink a beer:toast::toast:
    Create the opportunity...Sieze the opportunity!!

  • the last time I went out with rolo there were sharks aroun us all the time , not big , but still.... so up there they are a lot more abundant. here I don't see them to often.

  • Great reaction brother! You did exactly the right thing. As a trained and experienced spearo as you are, from this moment on you know that you have the expertise and skills to overcome any situation. Great, I wish I was your wing man through that experience!

    I'm a Speardiver, not a freediver

  • Good on ya mate, just make sure they are not pinned against the reef wall if you get bold with them.
Bulls have the most testosterone of the group once you lite their fuse and are juiced up.

  • You did well Lunker.

We normally use cudas here for chumming. They bring sharks, but also muttons, kings, cuberas, dogs, etc...

Of course, I'm talking about good visibility. With murky water we don't chum.
