3 of four lobsters and a broken pinkey

  • and i found a new spot thats rich (in sea life ). 15 minutes in I caught 5 almost legal bugs..... and then there he was ( the pinkeybreaker) . when I first grabed him I thought he was a three pounder and I guess he kicked like one . I grabbed him by the tail and i felt a very sharp pinch and a lot of pain . he ended up weighing in at 1pound 14 oz. But will put me out of the water for a week or so. Next bug I get was just barely legal and easy to grab other than the fact that my good hand has the broken pinkey, into the bag with big daddy (for me ) the next bug was at least a pound and a half and as I'm trying to unlock my game bag he slips out of my hands and i swear he gave me the bird as he torpedoed away. After that I find another 1/4" over legal and by that time my pinkey was swelling and throbbing so i headed in to avoid having to cut my glove off due to swelling .and heres the boogs .

  • Sweet story.... thanks for sharing! Sorry about the pinky.... something sounds weird about that situation must have given you one heck of a smack! Way to stick it out there. Hit me up when you are going back in! let's do some diving....

  • How'd you break your pinky? Smash your finger on a rock when you went to grab the lobster? Or did you actually break it on the lobster?

  • Wow I've never heard of that except with Maine bugs, you need to drink more milk mate.;)

Nice bugs man.:thumbsup2: sorry about the finger.....Guinness has allot of Iron, and will get you well fast.

  • he musta smashed it on a rock, theres no way a tail flick could do that.. ive had much bigger bugs tail slap my bare hand and it cut me up really good and almost made me let go, but wasnt even close to breaking bone.
