Anyone have a good online source for swedges? My stash has run dry and west marine charges a fortune for them and I figure that there is some online source where they can be had for cheap.

I don't have them but I'm curious what kind of swedges you're looking for, and what you use them for?
I believe I'm looking for 2.2 mm copper swedges. I use them for my cable shooting line I use for Baja, it's indestructible. Use two on each end for my big grouper gun for safe measure. I tried the ones that came with the cable I bought from Neptonics, but they were too thin and didn't compress in my crimper like the copper swedges.
If you're taking about making a loop in cable used as shooting line then you should braid it and crimp once.
yes ,that is by far the best, strongest, most streamlined way to do it . if you absolutely insist in using the big thick ones you can get them at osh

How do you braid cable?
