This is Jesse Anderson's account of events, I just pasted from facebook:
"Ok, so Cameron shot this beast at the same spot where I got owned by my bull shark. Result? The fish rocks up under a 40 foot ledge, and I jump in to lend a hand. Our good friend is already there circling the scene, as Cam dives down to wrestle the fish out of the cave. Meanwhile I've got to dive down behind and get in between Cam, the fish, and the bull shark, as it circles tighter and tighter. Usually a shark will back off once you hit it in the head once or twice, but this one was all jazzed up and after the second crack to the head it came up after me and bit my gun. Frack. Meanwhile Cam's got the fish out by now, and as we're swimming up the bull charges up under Cam, fish in hand, and opens its mouth to bite his fin. At the point I'm like "screw this we're gonna get eaten", so I'm contemplating shooting the shark but I know that will just be a total shit show, as I'd probably lose my gear and attract other sharks and be in a real mess. So I aim my gun just over his head and fire, the shark takes off like a bullet, an gives us just enought time to scramble into the boat. Think we're done for the day."
