Not much to report, just another coat of Phil's epoxie after sanding with 220. I'm working on the radar A-frame,
images later this week.
Cheers, Don

Thanks Dan. I've been at baseball and batting cages all day in the sun..I'm beat. I need to keep going forward
even if it's just a little each day.

Wow Don,
After talking to you on wednesday, I had to check out this thread. Can't believe what an epic job you've done so far. Really impressive. Can't wait to see thumper on the water.
I too have a port supply account with the business. If you need the number give me a call.

Thank you Ron, that is a fine gesture.:thumbsup2: Minnies have not had any good gps units come in.

In that my snow board wont fit in this Thule locking rack fixture, are you thinking what I'm thinking.;):D
In a effort to recycle junk I don't use any more, this may get tweaked into my radar/ A frame build as it has good Swedish locks.
Cheers, Don
Double Trouble fits too.:thumbsup2:

This could work with some G-10 bits to put a round peg in a square hole, the fit is snug.

Picked up a 13 cf pony tank for the boats auto inflation system, there is already a sleeve for it on the aft floor.
The Navy uses a larger cyl but I don't have a sub to launch it from;):D. The tank will be for rapid air top up.

Very cool.
Thanks Boss, I couldn't bring myself to post another picture of the CF control cover after the last coat of epoxy. I'm going to let it set for a couple weeks before I detail the cover.
Cheers, Don
That's awesome don. So it can give itself an inflation touch up while you are out on the water?
Genius

Roger that. In the sun and on the trailer without sea water cooling the tubes, the over pressure valves vent the expansion of gas. Once the boat is in 60 to 70 degree water, air top up is needed to maintain a hull pressure of 4.5lbs on this boat. Running a SIB (Small Inflatable Boat) not pumped to Spec air pressure allows the transom to flex under power. On oncoming seas the bow will flex up, stressing the floorboards and causing poor hull performance and wear at seams.A dinghy being rowed to the harbor can get away with a soft hull, a high performance boat can not.
Cheers, Don
Of course. That makes a lot of sense. Flexing is power lost

And dangerous on so many levels!:devil1::dance:

Put in some build time before the cold sake started flowing.:D
I'm just going to post some pics, will talk about it tomorrow.
