Hi everyone, I'm new to the site. Having been reading forum posts for a couple of weeks now I decided to join. I free dive in California for abalone, and friends lent me a speargun this spring and I had a blast:cool2:. So now here I am three spear guns in, and trying to get outfitted with the right stuff for my budget and skill level.
I have been abalone diving for almost 40 years so I am a late bloomer in spearfishing. It is funny because I am an archery hunter and spearfishing is just so naturally linked I don't know why I didn't give it a shot sooner:rolleyes1:. My biggest challenge is clearing on the way down, so will be workign on that this winter.
