Red Snapper video

Video of our last trip. Note the Red Snapper. There is nothing special about these spots, just gas platforms in 60 or so feet of water. Been diving this area all my life, more Snapper here now than at any time. I remember seeing a lot in the 80's, but they were mostly small. There are more now, and they are all large. Saw far fewer Sheepshead than Snapper.

Upon return there was a Mardi Gras Parade on the Island. We were stuck in traffic for 3 hours.

We didnt have any beer, so Ced proposed trading a Sheepshead to one of the Revelers for a 6 pack.
I have never laughed so hard as i did watching him asking Alabamians in his heavy French accent,

Excuze Moi, would you like the Sheephead for a six pack?

After about 5 attempts, someone took him up on the trade. :laughing3:
