Cressi Nano mask with mirrored lenses

    The Cressi Nano mask is now available with mirrored lenses $79.99 from FreediveStore.com. I consider the Cressi Nano to be one of the better masks in the ultra low volume micromask class because of its nice styling and fitting a wider range of faces. I tested the mirrored mask and the darkening effect is minimal. For those who don't know mirror lenses hide the diver's eyes masking predatory intent. This may help get closer to weary fish that would otherwise react when they see the diver's eyes turn to them.


    This ^^^ is GREAT news. I bought this mask, (though not mirrored) from Dan over a year ago to mount my GoPro to before any of the current GoPro ready masks were available. I love this mask. IMO it is a very high quality mask that you can see and feel the first time you put it on. I drilled and bolted my GoPro mount on this mask easily and have dove this mask many, many days without one problem and it still looks and preforms like new. NOW I am going to have to buy another one from Dan WITH the mirrored glass cause the fish here can see my eyes from a long way off. I'm sure the mirror finish must be as high a quality as the rest of this mask. Also, the FOV (field of view) is great with this mask.

    I use a Cressi Nano as well! And I'm loving it!:)
    I do wonder whether mirrored lenses allow fish to come closer, but that's a different topic for a different thread.
    I've always preferred Cressi masks and snorkels against other freedive brands. They seem to be simple, yet well designed and engineered.
