I got some pictures from Atlanta. and we got lots of snow..rare compare to last year. Too damn cold for now.. but soon my friends soon. :D

I might be wrong. but i used an ABBILLER for a long time. and they are not close muzzle. the muzzle is open. you can clip trough the top of the muzzle with a light pressure well depending on shaft diameter. It comes close enough that the shaft won't come out of the track. that is also open. But i remember sanding a little bit of the plastic on top and let me load from the top easier . Still the line don't have to secure it. I never had the problem with the shaft coming out of the rail. Do to the little pressure that it requires to keep in place. and you barely have to turn the gun upside down and still wont come down. I say a really good gun for starters. IMO. And yes i tried a sharkfin shaft ones That a friend modified for me. Before i switch to RIFFE. So it does shoot with tabs on the shaft. CHEERS

Everything bigger than a RIFFE C3..is good for me.. C3 will be the smaller gun i will use. The reason is if i can use that to shoot fish at night in holes and use it in really murky waters .. I don't need anything smaller. ....But like Marco said. if I'm right no matter how big is your gun. if you cant close that gap between you and the fish using the right technique .. the fish will always win. Some species like Hogs and Groupers they stare at you. So in fact most of them are easy to approach.. But a Wahoo or sometimes the Damn Cubera Snappers :D.are hard as hell. they know you by last name...I tell you those Fu***** are smart.

I don't grunt often maybe on rocky bottoms..but on sandy bottoms i like to dig in the sand and get a hand full of sand and throw it up..the mutton's specially will turn around and come see what is for dinner...lots of iron for them :D, grouper and all kind of snappers get curious.

This was hilarious..never seen a diver afraid of a grouper..specially commercial ones. it looked like a small curious dog getting close to him. he could of petted the grouper.. jajaja

when I'm using a suit for the first couple of times i will use conditioner to try it but just a little bit. because the slippery feeling will make the suit feel nice. and you really cant tell if is going to bother you on the joints . . then when the suit stretch and start getting more comfortable. then i use plain water and never have to use conditioner again. I really don't like to carry a bottle of spray around. I always dip the suit in salt water or i jump in the water and put the suit in the water before going out on the boat. But i guess everybody have different ways to make the suit feel comfortable for them.

LOTS of Man-O-Wars in the water and on the beach

Boy do i really hate those guerreros portugueses. (Man O War) Really nasty buggers. I hd a one on one encounter with them. Got saved by the hoodon my wetsuit. One reason more why having a hoodie is very important. Other than the sun.

Back in 2003, I was reading something on DeeperBlue about clearing and how when you swallow some spit... that clicking sound in your ears is actually the clearing function. Thought it was interesting and within a couple minutes, found I could isolate that movement. Never imagined it was that easy...

Next time I went diving, I clicked my ears internally a few times & have never needed to pinch my nose since. :)

    :agree1:

Exactly my point...same feeling same result. It helps becasue you also avoid any movements while going down.

I post this some where in the past but cannnt find. I've been doing this for like 15 years plus. and i really cant use my hands to Compensate no more. It became a habit. The only time i might use my handsis when im a little congested and might need a little extra pressure to reset. It really feels like you are trying to Swallow your own spit. when you are doing it. Then you learn how to manage the muscles in the neck. When you do the motion even under water you can feel it. in your ears. Is the same feeling when you go driving in a mountain and your ears feel blocked. and you do like a yawn (Spelling) to help you clear your ears. Same principle. If you are a person that suffers from congestion in the morning,. Is going to be harder for you to accomplish this right away. but as the days goes the passages clear. and becomes natural. I used it speacially at the beginning to collect bugs at nigh while freediving. Small speargun in one hand and Spot light in the other. So it was the only comfortable option. :)

WOW Wood Guy you and Jeff always bringing the guns to a new level. That is some good stuff. I will get n contact with you later. I got something that is yours and i want to get it back to you. You know what i'm talking about. :). I know it will work fine in you dock. Take care. What you use to give that shinny look to that wood. Teak oil?.. well take care

I'm going for multiple locations..But main post willl be Kuwait..from there i be moving around to different areas of the AOR.Thanks for the concern..When it comes to the middle east no place is safe. But im sure i be back in the summer ready to put some blood on the new speargun..no body can stop a spero that has been out of the water for so long.:D Spearfishing is addictive.:coke:
