did the jupiter diving thing today in hopes of bagging a cobe, my buddy ryan shot a 25 lber yesterday and had a sighting of a huge one.... we came up dry without a single sighting, I shot a rainbow runner but it never made it to the ice and cooked in the chum bucket on deck. Did get completely swarmed by a dozen feisty little sharks at one point that had me n one of the guys back to back for a few minutes.

Someone downloaded "the anarchists cookbook" as a kid.

Might want to fill a tennis ball with matcheads and throw it at the homemade napalm.

Add some dial soap to the mix. :thumbsup2: More fun to put a huge model rocket engine with a fuse in a tennis ball though. Those suckers GO.

Stickem, dont envy you one bit but i like info like this.... helps those of us considering a boat in our future on what to watch for.

It didnt do anything wrong, why risk damaging the gun ??

    grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. anyway,

Also have a .357 bang stick for sale with 15 rounds of new federal .357 included, need to have some lacquer on them if you plan on using it. looking for 50 for the set, in person deal for this one only.

dibs on the busted pneumatic. Will you accept payment in Trident Layers?? If so, Ill offer 4 Jr Bacon Cheeseburgers and pack of gum. Ill ask them to hold the spit on the burgers tho

Id give it to you for free if i can hit you over the head with it :laughing3:

Thinning out the herd as Ive accumulated alot of gear and guns the last few weeks that Im not going to have much time to use. Prefer not to ship the guns and deal cash in hand locally in SoFL.

Mako 110 cm Predator pro 2nd generation . - new, used it a few times. Nothing wrong with it, single wrap of 300 lb mono. Will need a muzzle bungee. 150 obo. Black Barrel. Will include a 20mm riffe band that will fit the gun, currently fitted with twin 16s with plenty of life left in them.

Cressi sub SL 85 pneumatic - picked this up at dania flea market for 20 bucks, selling it for the same. Has a shaft that is super rusty. Needs to be taken apart and fixed up and resealed, no pump or loader included. Good little project for a powerful reefgun. spearfishingworld has the parts in stock for this gun to reseal, etc.

    more on the way.

I try and shoot as close as possible. within 10 feet. Most of the long shots ive taken have been dicey and resulted in a fish tearing off or wounding it then having to chase it down. Hogs usually get shot from 1 - 5 feet away. triggers... i stab em before i try shooting them. I try n wait for the best possible shot that will hold too... I hate chasing fish down and trying to shoot on the fly.

Andrewk, definitely check out Wet Wear. That's interesting about the bag in the water. I had not even thought about dragging the fish around - probably keeps them cooler, too. Can you give me a product name or link to what it is you use, so I can check it out? Or, do you fashion your own bag?

I have no idea what the brand is, Ive only gotten them at the dive shop i quit working at a few months ago, and at the dania marine flea market. theyre hard to find on the market. Any mesh game bag would suffice but I would go with something thats not completely mesh. Its nice to be able to keep the fish in the water and out of the sun. Nate on here, my dive buddy, tried the kayak cooler bag and doesnt use it anymore it was too much of a hassle. Whats nice about the bag; drop your fish and bugs in it and leave it in the water til its time to move.

Nice setup. Have to check out that wetwear place... I have everything pretty much tied to my kayak when i go out. I started keeping my fins, mask, etc all in a bag so if i yardsale beaching the yak I can flip it over and still have everything. I use a bag in the water for my fish and bugs. The bag I use is a rollup bag with plastic inserts that make the bag snap shut once I let go of it.
