Not to detract from this post but I'm wondering how many folks actually freedive spearfish while using these Sharkshields. I am seriously considering one. The sharks are getting worse here every week.

Very, nice. I love that purpleheart contrast, makes that gun really pop. I been shooting a purpleheart/maple for a few years and it's my favorite gun.

Welcome sir.

Just curious if there are any spearos currently on gtmo?

I hunt doggies out here in the South Pacific and Chris makes a good point about the detail on the fishlike flashers above the Buzzbomb, I've used the CD's and such, and although they will bring the fish in sometimes they don't stay very long. With these detail shapes and eyes will most likely hang around longer thus giving you extra time to make a shot. I don't know if Wahoo would be the same as I've not hunted them yet. It does make a difference on doggies though.

Welcome Sir, Canary Islands look beautiful.

Vey nice lines.

That would be so much fun, Panama/YFT is on the list.

Hey Dan, I was looking at this post thinking what a great thread then realized it was mine, ha ha. For a few years I had hoped to make a trip to Panama and check it out but life got in the way and still have not made it to Panama yet. But I'm back working in the Marshall Islands on Kwajalein Atoll and not too bad, at age 61 feels like semi-retirement, chasing the doggies around is pretty addictive.

Selling a 155 RH Ulusub less than a year old, a couple of small scratches, comes with 3 bands, two 5/16" shafts, bluewater reel and a nice padded case. Asking $800 plus shipping. PM for more info.

Thanks Dan, it will shoot 2 or 3 bands. I like two 14.5mm bands for the flopper shaft and three 14.5mm for the threaded shaft. I kill fish with this gun every weekend and it's a very good deal for an Ulusub.

Sold pending payment.
I have a beautiful 140RH Ulusub in very good condition with very little boat rash. Comes with a flopper shaft and threaded shaft, reel and three bands. Asking $450 plus shipping. PM for more info.

I live in the Marshall islands and know a guy that shoots a 120 Speardiver converted roller and he's shot his share of dogtooth tuna. Says he loves the gun. Personally I'm old school and shoot a classic wood gun. I don't know that much about pipe guns but I know there are a pile of Rob Allen's out there and piles of fish shot with them but I think the Speardiver would be a step up. This is only my opinion. Hope this helps.

I'll turn 60 in a couple of months and looking forward to continuing the sport as long as I can. You "old farts" are my inspiration.

I've used JBL's since they were Voit Swim Master and my latest was the Elite Woody Sawed-Off Mag and it was a nice gun (had to do some work to the muzzle) killed lots of fish. So I ordered the new Mid-Handle 450 Mag from Leisure Pro and waited over 2 months before it came in and was not impressed with it and sent it back the next day. I still think the Elite line are great guns.

Dude george.... Had the same thing happen to me, I won't buy nothing else from them either, they left me in a bind over in the South Pacific.
