i always knew i could learn something from rambo.so what i have to do to make it work ?
cut a piece of the apple, mash some of the pulp, apply it to the dry lense, leave it there for how long ?,
and yes, how long does the rinse off effect will last ? a whole day with in and out off the water, wetting and drying the lense several times ?
will try it out , does it work with bananas too ? apples are hard to get in tobago sometimes.

Yes I have actually met and hung out with Michael Rose many years ago, a friend of mine was there tour manager, we drank some Irish moss and inhaled some fine Jamaican.

wish i could have been there. mykal rose is up to today one of the most conscience and spiritual voices that jamaica have. one love....

thought i should show you the funniest looking snapper i have caught in a while.
the dive itself was kinda funny. i went down with my cam to film a school of brighteyes , so i was holding the gun out of the picture. when i start seeing the brighteyes i saw two cuberas in the distance. the bigger one showed a little interest in my appearence, so i turned the cam at him and start pointing the gun in his direction. watch him swimming away i didnt watch where i drop on the reef, finally finding myself in a big hole in the reef, hardly able to look outside. that was what probably animated the cubera to turn and swim straight at my direction. at the moment he turn sideways, i already thought this fish look like a snapper-blackjack hybrid. the deformation on his head had no signs of physical impact, shape of his mouth really odd and the skull much to small for this size of fish. look how big his eyes and how they almost pop out of his skull. well, so far anyone who ate from the fish still alive....heard some rumors they start growing fins between their fingers....!

we see them regulary in tobago waters. they like clear water. very tasty, people here love it, its one of the best selling fish on the market.locally known as "salmon", because the meet contains more fat then others.
they appear over reefs and in blue water. big schools of them circling around you mostly on the way back up to the surface. usually 2-5 pounds big. bigger ones, 5-10 pounds (everything over 10pounds is a trophy)
mostly swim in small groups up to 5 individuals. or they swim alone. these bigger fish can be also found at wrecks. or fad's. when a school circling you, pick the biggest one you can and shoot fast, because the quick they appear they also disappear. and once swimming away they never turn back (hardly ever).
bigger singles behave different. you can hunt them more like a amber or almacojack, but they tend to be more wary then those species. rainbow runner also mix up with schools of other jacks, horse eye, bar jack or blue runner.

    hi,
something you may watch with your wife/girl friend. no shooting, just to relax.
met these dolphins some weeks ago early morning on my way going spearfishing.
amazing creatures. they was so exited that when they start circling around me the clicking and squeeking noise they creating was hurting my ears a bit. actually you start feeling that sound inside your head and body.hope the quality shows good. all the best....

    LB,
no pics, sold the gun a while ago. i tied the line to the lineanchor with a knot and left over a piece of line about 4 inch. made a big knot into that end and tied the piece of line with these platic cables that you can pull on one side and they close, at the barrel just behind the muzzle. so in my case the line cut through the line anchor but the extension piece was hold because it was tied to the barrel again. hope i was explaining it good enough now. language barrier. but since you have a wooden barrel, you could simply grind of the plasticlineanchor, and put on a riffe lineanchor just behind the muzzle. u gonna loose 2-3 inches of shootingline lenght, but it would sure look good, and will hold the monstercubera waiting for you out there.
possible situation, happen to me more then once, you shoot the monsterfish, he runs all along the bottom,
you let go your gun and hold on to your backline. the fish runs through a tunnel or around some cracks,
your gun get stucked. a big fish sure will rip the lineanchor you using right now.
    greets

    hey lunker,
nice bag. i use a zebco fishingrod bag for some years now. there is a great variety of them and because they make them in large quantities they tend to be much cheaper then speargunbags.
i just realized two things about your gunsetup. why there is no screw in the hole at the muzzle to tie the muzzle to the barrel ? and just a tip....i see you tie the shockabsorberbungie to the gun where you supposed to do it. it happend to me once that i shot a jack about 15 pounds, and by dragging the fish hard
the line cut through that piece of plastictube where my spearline was attached. clean! i still got the fish because the same thing happened a while before to a friend of mine who had the same gun, so i tied my line at the hole and leave a longer piece with a knot wich i tied again with some platiccable to the barrel behind the muzzle.that is the very weak part at the mundial muzzle. greets

    hey shawno,
i think its a snail. i wash the meat with saltwater and plenty limejuice to get off the slime, pound the meat till it gets tender , cut it in small pieces and stew it down with fresh seasoning garlic, ginger, etc, and coconutjuice. best!
hey adrian, that smell is the worse. here they rest the shell after cleaning for some weeks on a ansnest, so they will eat out all remaining pieces, i just soak it in soapwater for some days and shake it now and then.

found the pics i was looking for, just made a quick vid with the material.
hope quality shows good, my laptop have some stoneage flashplayer wich shows all youtube vids
if they where made last century.enjoy the music, hehe.
hey bolo, i saw dan helped you out with some infovids already. by now you must be a professional

    hi bolo,
will try to help you with some instructions. hope i will find them.
    little later.
hey dan, i heard about the technique you mentioned. they used to do that in grenada a lot, because the shell is more valuable for them then the meat. they use to sell the shells to tourist, and of course they look much better without banging a hole into them. i tryed it once but the damn thing didnt let go the shell for hours, and i didnt felt to good about seeing this thing suffering. so i dont do that again.
