Did everyone finally opened holes in their hoods? :rolleyes1:
the old hood argument
-

this may sound funny..but true. Ive always hated hoods. i saw a diving buddy of mine using his mask under the hood and tried it. I use it this way for now. I have tried it the normal way like Mariner wrote and its a pain in the ass for the mask to seal around my face

still not doin the holes thing,, and havnt had the equalizing problem since i think it was just a once in a blue moon kind of thing
-
You MUST open de holes. Martin S. does it!

I'm taken, sorry. Besides, he's not my kiind of man... :laughing3:

marco, u know of anyone who wears the mask under the hood??
-
Yes, I have seen that before, but is not usual.
My advice to you is that after you wear the mask (above the hood), pass your fingers under the edge of the hood making sure that the seal of the mask stays below the hood and over your skin. I never had a problem.
-
oh i see marco,, big dissapoinment..
alan i know youve got a lot more experience then me so im not given advice jsut chiming in,, i used to wear mask under hood but wound up having more problems that way.. like the hood would force the mask out of position or press down the snorkel. what marco said about passing fingers around seal oof hood to make sure mask is sealed works great, its important, for me at least, to do so before getting in the water though makes it a lot easier -
That's what I meant. Thank you Steven! My "Spanglish" is not good enough....

Yes White Sea Bass, the water was 58 degrees, I did it on a bet.
I like the quality of the meat on the fish under 50 pounds.
Cheers, Don
