If your looking for a used one, then ebay might be your best bet. I've seen several used euro's go for the last couple of weeks and a new 110 going right now: http://cgi.ebay.com/Riffe-Euro-Speargun-New110x_W0QQitemZ290257761540QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item290257761540&_trkparms=72%3A1163%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
I would highly doubt someone would be willing to trade a riffe for a couple of pneumatics as they would see that as a huge down grade but then again, you never know. Good luck!

You've seen the light A couple of things about the Riffe Euro I don't like; Handle is too small and not ergonomic. Due to the stock being wider than it is tall when the bands are stretched it increases the profile to the point that it's uncomfortable to carry.

There's one on SB that the guy is selling with reel. It's a 120 cm. The reel's an Abellan.

the euro is a nice looking gun, but I had a Riffe Euro 120, that i ended up trading for a Mid handle midrange. I am happy with the trade, i found the euro too tip light and i couldn´t hit shit with it. with the midrange i had stoned 90 % of the fish i had aimed it at. Just a thought

I just mailed off to an eBay buyer my Riffe Euro 120. I actually love the handle, but I have really fine and beautiful hands. I couldn't hit shit with it as well, even while doing target practice. I switched to an RA (with a plastic trigger :thumbdown1:) and it shoots exactly where I point.

LOL if there was ever going to be a time to post this pic it's now. Just think what might have been if that cuda bite didn't cut short your hand modeling career..

RA plastic trigger militia!!:thumbsup2::)
that gun shoots where you point it. i have one as well.
on a serious note im looking at a Rabi Apex aluminum w Apex 3000 handle(stainless steel mech)

Rabitech is a fine gun, i had used the 110 stealth of my good friend Gon, and i have a sporasub viper identical to the stealth. Both of them are great guns but still like the Riffe standard best. It is more versatile in the sense that you can rig it with any shaft tip configuration. The only down side is the price. A Rabi apex is not far in cost compared to a riffe though.

the aluminum runs in the high 200's
what is the retail on a Riffe Euro or comp?
-
$420 for the C3
$467 for the 110X -
thanks dan, that 120 euro for $375 doesnt sound too bad.
-
Riffes seem to hold their value well.

I have a RE 90 and it's incredible, but I couldn't get the hang of this 120. I could have played with a lot of things, but I already had a RA 110, so it was kinda redundant. I know that the RE120 holds its value well, so I eBayed it for just about what I bought it for. I would have kept it had I not just bought a boat/money pit!
I know lots of people that have used that gun and gotten terrific accuracy. I don't want to spoil your choice. It is definitely well made.
