So I got the chance to meet Dan today and check out some of his latest/greatest stuff. He is a great guy and really seems to take pride in the work he does. I got to sit and watch him make/assemble my Speardiver fins - very cool yet somewhat time-consuming process. I also learned some about the speargun band tying/making procedure. I left Spearfishing Store with a new friend , a set of carbon fins, 2 knives (one for me and one for a friend), a fixed mako band, and a helpful review of my homemade polespear. Thanks again Dan for all your time and help. I should get a chance to test out the fins on thursday during my annual family snorkel trip to the keys.
I will try to post before/after pics of my old gear and my new - Dan and I agree its a BIG improvement.
