Most of my freedive spearfishing has been w/hawaiin sling in keys/bahamas since 1970's. Learned as a teenager from my friends Dad, Jack Kearns, who was contemporary of Art Pinder and Don Delmonico. Earlier this summer speared my 1st fish w/a speargun, 40'' Cobia. Had 196 McKee Craft but currently boatless and foaming at the mouth get out more frequently. Reside in Stuart. Married, 3 children. Medical field.
Love seeing/reading the great fish/stories and looking forward to posting some of my own.

My parents live in stuart and I make it down there frequently...but have not done much spearfishing there. Like you, most of my spearfishing utilizes a hawaiin sling.
